Friday MAY 6 – MONSTER MOVIE IN AMAZING 3D!
The Monster of Phantom Lake (2006) re-mastered in 3D! This evening’s film was written, directed and edited by Minnesota Filmmaker Christopher R. Mihm, who has been featured in SCI-FI Magazine, Screem, Famous Monsters of Filmland, and more. For over ten years Mihm has been making films that pay homage to 1950s-era “drive-in cinema”! 3D Glasses included!

Friday May 13 – SUPERHEROES in 16 mm & Digital!
Kick off your MCBA MSP ComicCon weekend with a 90 minute program of Short Film & Animation featuring Superheroes & Villains. A portion of proceeds go to MCBA! This evening of rarely seen and much cherished footage is curated by consummate film collector Ron Hall of Festival Films with David Barnhill of SuperMonster市City! COME IN COSTUME!

May 20 – ANIME AND KAIJU Super 8mm & Digital!
ANIME and KAIJU (Japanese Monster) Films shown in glorious Super 8mm and digital! The evening is curated by 8mm film collector Timothy Price who treats us to an evening of Kaiju and Anime movies. Timothy is also the author of the cult classic Big in Japan! which you can find on Amazon. A night to celebrate CosPlay, Manga, Anime and Japanese-themed monsters! COME IN COSTUME!

MAY 27 – CLASSIC COMEDIES in 16mm & Digital!
For the series finale we are honored to welcome legendary film historian Bob DeFlores to curate a night of classic comedies shown in 16 mm & digital formats! Bob was raised in Hollywood where his parents performed in movies, radio and nightclubs. Bob DeFlores and SuperMonster市City! Master Collector David Barnhill have known each other for over 50 years and will introduce the films! Don’t miss this special opportunity!

VINTAGE TOY EXHIBIT at the Big Thrill Factory!
SuperMonster市City! has curated an amazing Vintage Toy Exhibit that will be on display at The Big Thrill Factory during May! See Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolf Man, King Kong, Star Wars characters, Dungeons and Dragons and more from the 1960s – 2000! Exhibit free with Film Screening admission!
